NY CHAIR - ROCKER

720.00

Based on the director-style chair, Japanese designer Takeshi Nii designed this foldable rocking chair marrying the trifecta of use, quality and design. The NY Chair, designed in 1958, has won numerous design awards and later became part of the MOMA collection in 1970. The chair's name "NY" was inspired by the designer's family name Nii, and is also the Danish word for new. The NY Chair compactly folds to just 5-inches in width, weighs only 15lbs, and stands on its own. The hanging loop can be used as a lock.
